At Special Homeland IT Engagement, we reject the false narrative that "efficient government" means cutting budgets and reducing services. Our mission is to advocate for the truth:

"Truly efficient government means investing more in it, not less."

We believe that properly funded public services, staffed by well-compensated professionals, create a more efficient and effective government that serves all Americans, not just the wealthy few.

Adequate Funding: Government agencies need proper resources to fulfill their missions effectively. Chronic underfunding creates inefficiency, not efficiency.

Background

This site was inspired by the original doge.gov concept, but with a focus on exposing the false economy of government budget cuts. When politicians talk about "making government more efficient," they often mean:

Cutting essential services that help ordinary Americans
Reducing oversight that prevents corporate abuse
Eliminating jobs and overworking remaining staff
Deferring maintenance that will cost more later
Privatizing public assets for the benefit of the wealthy

We're here to challenge that narrative and advocate for a government that works for everyone.

Know that you're not the only one who thinks this is completely fucked up. Millions of Americans see through the bullshit of "efficiency" that's really just cutting services people need. Everyone else thinks this is fucked up too—you just need to find them.
